Becoming the Farmer and Enjoy the World Heritage Site in Ninh Binh

NINH BINH – LOCAL FARMER EXPERIENCE TOUR

(2days/ 1night)

Day 01: HANOI – NINH BINH – FARMER EXPERIENCE (L)

7:00 - 7:30: Pick up from hotel in old quarter or meeting point to transfer to Ninh Binh (around 2,5 hours driving with short break on the halfway).

10:00: Arrive Ninh Binh , get change the clothes to star the famer experience tour, including:

• Duck feeding.
• Visit and gardening herb and vegetable garden.
• Catch fish and learnt how to plan water rice.
• Enjoy cooking class then make some food for your own for lunch.
• In the mean time waiting lunch, learn how to make conical hat, weaving to make cloth.
• Enjoy lunch then spend time for picture and relax.

14:30 -15:00: Transfer to hotel or home stay for check in.

- Free time/ No tour guide: Walking around to see local life or rent bycicle to do cycle for sight-seeing nature of Ninh binh with mountain and river (by your own).

- Dinner and overnight in Ninh binh.

DAY 02: HOA LU TEMPLE – MUA CAVE – TAM COC - HANOI (B/L/ -)

Enjoy breakfast at hotel then you do check out.

9:30: Transfer to join the new group with new English speaking tour guide.

10:00: Visit Hoa lu ancient capital with two tempels King Dinh & King Le.

11:15: Enjoy the cycling around a local village and rice field around 45 minutes.

12:00: Enjoy buffet lunch.

13:30: Tranfer to Tam coc or Trang An for Sampan trip along river. Boat trip is about 1h30 minutes going through 3 Caves, where you enjoy sight-seeing and taking picture.

15:30: Transfer to Mua cave, hiking about 500 steps up to Lying dragon peak, enjoy the panorama view from the top deck to the rivers, moutains, lotus lake...

16:30 - 17:00: Back to the bus, then transfer to Ha noi city.

19:30- 20:00: Back to Ha Noi city and drop off at hotel in Old-quarter. Finish!

GROUP TOUR PRICE: 150usd per person (from 17-22 people)

PRIVATE TOUR PRICE: usd per person (included: private car/ private guide/ buffet lucnh/ flexible schedules, all entrance fees, bikes)

CHILDREN POLICY:

• Below 4 years: 1st child free (sharing seats on the bus & beds), 2nd child 50% of adult rate (sharing seats on the bus & beds with parents)
• 4-8 years: 75% of adult’s price (private seats on the bus & sharing beds with parents)
• Above 8 years old: Full adult’s price

EXCLUSIONS:

• Shuttle bus with experienced driver (pick up & drop off at the hotel/ address in hanoi old quarter but traffic is very crazy, small valley or many streets will be closed/ walking street when pick up & drop off time. Maybe Customers need to walk a bit or transfers from hotel to the bus by motorcycle...). We will inform in advance when we know customer's address details.
• English speaking guide.
• Water on the bus.
• Buffet lunch with Vietnamese cuisine on the second day.
• Local lunch on the first day.
• All entrance fees & activities as details.
• Hoa Lu temple entrance fees.
• Boat trip in Tam Coc fees/ Or Trang An boat trip (customers just can choose one activity).
• Mua cave entrance fees.
• Cycling activity (Bikes) on the second day
• Hat and ponchos during the trip (if raining)
• Local guide by staff in Farmer experience tour on the first day.
• Farmer experience fees on the first day.
• One night at the homestay/ bungalow (2-3 people/ one room)

EXCLUSIONS:

• Surcharge: 50 USD per person on Lunar New year holiday (from 30 Dec to 03 Jan of the Lunar New Year – Vietnamese tradtional Tet’s holiday)
• Drinks for lunch
• Tips for tour guide & driver (don't tip if asked by local/ tour guide. Customers can tip if happy or not)
• Or anything is NOT mentioned above.

Things to bring: Cash, camera, sun-glasses, ice-cream, insect repelant, hiking shoes, sneakers, umbrellar, ponchos, hat…

Know before you go

• Customers need to cover the knees & shoulders when visiting the Hoa Lu temple.
• Price is included entrance fees as details at the Inclusions part (Applied for the bookings before Sep 01, 2026), if any changes from government as increase price of entrance fees, customers need to pay for that, we will inform details if any changes.
• Because of group tour, we will stop on the halfway (international shopping center), many tourists need to relax, toilets...souvenirs are expensive here but customers don't have to buy (wallet in your own)...
• Customers need to take responsibility for their own health when participating in tour activities such as cycling, hiking, mountain climbing, boating, etc.
